YMM Aspiring Entrepreneurs Social
Do you or someone you know have a great idea for a new business, but don’t know where to begin? Have you considered small business ownership as a career path, but aren’t sure if it’s for you? Then come check out the YMM Aspiring Entrepreneurs Social, hosted by the Wood Buffalo Regional Innovation Network! This fun, casual monthly event is an opportunity to get together with like-minded people, share ideas, have a few drinks, make new connections, learn about what it means to be an entrepreneur from our guest speakers, and discover what services are available for would-be entrepreneurs here in Fort McMurray!

Community Code Day
Fort McMurray's first ever Coding and Technology Conference is an event for people who choose to learn because they can, and build because they love it.
Over the course of a weekend, you'll be able to attend different workshops and speaker presentations to learn about coding, technology, entrepreneurship, and how the yearly relates to technology! Attendees can also choose to participate in the beginner "Design Project" to win some amazing prizes.
